PRODUCTION DESIGN

Star Trek Beyond represented the first collaboration with director Justin Lin. This project required the creation of a new environment for the main antagonist Krall. Applying character as a main design generator a concept evolved that proposed Krall’s lair as an isolated psychologically weaponized structure hanging like a stalactite in a massive subterranean cavern.
