Battle Creek was a show of character dualities. Sophistication verse crudeness. Prescribed analysis verse gritty instinct. The design of the show reflected this condition with streamlined elements defining the world of the FBI and a layered roughness established as the milieu of local law enforcement. All encased in a historical structure that was inspired by the beaux arts architectural movement of the early twentieth century.
