LOONEY TUNES BACK IN ACTION

ART DIRECTION (ASSISTANT)

Looney Tunes Back in Action presented an opportunity to work on one of the most ambitious stage set builds of the show: Monkey Island. The concept of the environment was a to create an ancient ruin with monkey iconography. The arrangement of the set was in three distinct zones: the entry with 30’ tall monkey statues, the Gauntlet with a series of deadly obstacles and the island zone, defined by a stone drawbridge activated by a keystone game that stimulated a statue rising from the ground to reveal the “blue Monkey stone gem”. Production Design by Bill Bzreski.
