American Horror Story Asylum exercised a psychological terror that defined the anthology limited series for years to come. The main environment was the asylum facility operated by a Catholic order and had to illicit a sense of loss and mystery in every space.It needed to feel haunted by past indiscretions and lost lives. This show represented my second working relationship with award winning production designer Mark Worthington.
